COSTANZA DI CAMILLO

Olympians - Vice World & European Champion - Italian Champion

  • "I started swimming at the age of three years old and later developed a passion for classical ballet. I decided to combine my love for these two different disciplines by starting synchronized swimming at the age of nine. After finishing high school, I was noticed by Patrizia Giallombardo (Head Coach of the national team), who asked me to move to Savona to join Rari Nantes Savona (one of the best teams in Italy). I was lucky to be trained for years by Anastasija Ermakova (Olympic champion). From there came my first national team call-up in 2016, which led to historic results such as: the title of world vice-champion in the highlight routine, the Olympics, and numerous European medals."

ELISA BOZZO

Olympian - Vice World & European Champion - Italian Champion

  • "I started at the age of nine with Pro Recco Team, with whom I became the Italian champion in the Esordienti A category and the girls' category, and won two Comen Cups in team and duet. With the Junior National team, I became European champion in the team and duet, and then made my debut at the age of eighteen in the senior National team, competing in various World and European Championships and winning important medals. After the 2009 World Championships in Rome, I took a year off from competing and then rejoined the National team in 2010; my goal was to earn an Olympic spot, which I narrowly missed three times. Finally, in 2016, after years of hard work, I managed to achieve my dream. Earning the Olympic spot and achieving an extraordinary 5th place at the Rio Olympics was my most beautiful victory. I want to teach our girls that even when everything seems lost, you should never give up and continue to fight to realize your dreams.
